Inkjet fabric sheets : Including Cotton, Silk, Linen and Voile plus Iron-on inkjet fabric sheets
This is a truly amazing product totally new to the UK Craft Market. Feed 100% fabric directly through your computer printer. The Fabric sheets have a paper backing to help them go through the printer. They are so simple to use, print them off as if printing normal paper. Then peel off the backing paper and you have your own original printed fabric and it is washable too!
Instructions
1. Before printing off the Linen or Voile fabric sheets please iron the fabric sheets on both sides first. This ensures the fabric sheets are fresh before being put through the printer. The Silk, Cotton , iron-on cotton fabric sheets do not need to be ironed first. Make sure you place the fabric sheets straight in your printer. If for any reason they catch on the sides of the printer you can use your finger to gently encourage the correct feed direction. If you have any further problems feeding the fabric through your printer you can attach and fold over a strip of masking tape along the leading edge to make the fabric sheet more secure. In most cases this is not necessary.
2. You do not need to change any settings on your printer when printing off the fabric sheets. The only exception is the silk fabric. It is a good idea to lighten up your images before you print onto the silk to make sure not too much ink is injected into the fabric. This should not make a difference to the quality of the print.
3. Once printed leave the fabric sheets to dry for at least one hour before peeling off the backing paper. The fabric is now ready to use.

Using the iron-on fabric sheets
Sometimes the paper curls, if this occurs just roll it the opposite way before putting into printer. Print off using high quality settings to achieve intense colours ( if you do not know how to adjust your printer settings normal paper mode will work just as well ). You do not need to leave the fabric sheets to dry they can be used straight away. Cut out your images from the sheet THEN peel off the backing paper. Place your images face side up onto the fabric project you wish to decorate and iron with a hot iron for 15 –20 seconds to fuse the fabric together.
Washing instructions
What makes the fabric sheets different is that they are pre-treated with a non toxic chemical to help fix the ink from the inkjet printer. They are washable and can be washed by hand in warm water or a cold cycle with a small amount of detergent. If washing by hand use normal soap of washing up liquid. This is the ensure you keep the brightness of the colours. You can dry clean the fabric sheets but there will be some fading with the cotton but not the Silk. The Fusible cotton fabric sheets are more robust when washing you can put these into a normal 40 degrees wash but we do advise you put them in a cool wash to maintain the colours.
